Sargecraft Jouney

Sargecraft is a labor of love born from creativity and dedication, founded in 2023 by Kristel Dorado, an active-duty army service member. What began as a simple hobby during off-duty hours has blossomed into a cherished business, crafting personalized invitations and souvernirs that bring joy to special occasions

The journey of Sargecraft began quite unexpectedly. While serving in the army, Kristel Dorado found peace and joy in crafting during her free time. It all started when she made the invitations for her own wedding, and everyone was amazed by them. This success sparked her love for creating unique and beautiful invitations

Kristel's first big project was for her own wedding, where she designed her own invitations and got great feedback. This positive experience led her to take on another project for a close friend's upcoming birthday. Kristel happily agreed to create the birthday invitations, and her friend loved them. With some free time and lots of inspiration, Kristel put her creativity to work, and the response was fantastic.

Encouraged by this, Kristel soon agreed to make invitations for a relative's son's 5th birthday party. She offered her time and talent for free, asking only for the needed materials. The invitations were a big hit, and word started to spread. More and more people began asking Kristel to create unique invitations for their events.

Turning Passion into Business

Realizing the potential, Kristel had an epiphany: she could turn this enjoyable pastime into a small business. She began charging a modest fee for her creations, and Sargecraft was officially born. Orders poured in, and Kristel balanced her army duties with her newfound entrepreneurial venture. Crafting became not just a source of additional income but a fulfilling and enjoyable activity that didn’t feel like work.
